Our newest Custom Alliance knife, the BLACKOUT from the high-tech shop of knifemaker Les George combines cutting edge materials and master craftsmanship with a rugged tactical style that this Marine is becoming well known for. The BLACKOUT is a unique modification to Les’ wicked and celebrated Hydra frame-lock that adds a rapid-firing integral flipper to quickly bring the massive blade into service. The special BLACKOUT Stainless Damascus steel, custom made by bladesmith Chad Nichols especially for this project is wickedly ground in a ferocious reverse curve pattern that will slice and dice even the toughest materials with ease. The uniquely shaped BLACKOUT blade is sandwiched into a hand-filling frame-lock of hardened Titanium with an insert of textured carbon fiber for a subtle reminder of the futuristic nature of this hand made design. Titanium frame-lock flipper with precise, hand crafted construction and flawless fit.
