COMMENTS - This knife is a rare example of some of the last "custom" type knives to come out of the Randall shop. A standard field knife set up with a model 18 handle. Randall made a few field knives of various models with an 18 handle in the early 1980's. The hilt has the standard appearance but upon closer inspection, it is also a custom made piece to accommodate the tube handle. The knurled tube and screw-in butt are typical for the day.
